MOS Test
This test allows us to see the quality of your internet connection. A poorly performing internet connection can cause problems such as choppy audio, echo, one-way or no audio, and dropped calls.
Please note that the site where you will be performing this test is not affiliated with Quantumvoice. A separate window will open where you will run the test from following the steps below.
Using your web browser, go to: http://testyourvoip.com
.In the "Call Destinations" pull-down menu choose the destination closest to you (eg: for USA customers choose Boston) and make sure the "Preserve Speech Quality" radio button is selected.

If this is the first time you are using this site a Java dialog box may pop-up asking if it is okay to run the program. Press the "OK" button. Once the application starts its testing you will see this screen:

Once the system has completed its testing it will provide a line chart like below.
[1] This is your MOS score. In this case the MOS score is extremely poor. We will see why in the next step. Realize that even if you DO get a good MOS score (eg: 4.0 of above) there may still be issues with your line that you will only see in the "See Detailed Results" output.
[2] Press the "See Detailed Result" button.

Below is the detailed results output.
[1] This pie-chart indicates graphically the various sources of loss for your connection. A "perfect" connection will only show green section of the pie chart (MOS), the light blue section (Codec) and nothing else.
[2] This table breaks down the pie-chart into another view.
[3] In general the Packet Discards and Packet Loss values should be 0.0%. If these are not zero, you can experience choppy audio, dropped calls, one-way or no audio, and echo.
[4] Use this form to email the results to us for analysis. In the "From" field put your email address. In the "To" field put: customercare@quantumvoice.com and then press the "Send" button.

Below is an example of what decent result will look like. Perfect results will not have any packet discards - all you will see are the green section of the pie chart (MOS) and the light blue section (Codec) and nothing else.
